I really like the "- Interference" point. I think that may well be the most challenging part of all. Because the "interference" can change depending on venue, crowd, event, sensitivity, context, etc. Also, I've done it and seen it happen where a type of interference is introduced by a comedian right up front and the crowd is lost for the rest of the set/show. I've even experienced where interference might change from one joke to the next. Thanks for bringing this up as it's given me another angle to consider things from!
